A Year of Awesome!


Wow! What an awesome year! Honestly, I wasn't sure I would make it. At this time last year, I made a bet to get a tattoo of my logo if I made it 365 days. Anyone know a good tattoo artist?


I have so many awesome people to thank for this, an incredible first year of success. You know who you are and I am grateful for all of your advice, assistance, wine, opportunities, leads, beer and golf!

OPPORTUNITIES

Safety Manager - DC Area General Contractor. 5+ years experience in safety, environmental, or health management and compliance. Ensure all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, rules, and codes are observed. Monitor and implement updates in safety regulations, laws, or reporting requirements.. Manage OSHA record-keeping, reporting, and employee training requirements. Develop/implement safety training for new employee orientation and required programs. OSHA 10 and 30 hour training completion required. OSHA 500 or 510 a plus.

Marketing Director - Architecture Firm located in Oakton, VA. 7-10 years experience. Oversee , business development, marketing and proposal efforts through graphic design for print and digital media, update website, RFQ/RFP responses, CRM updates, manage national and local trade show/events.

Superintendent - DC Area General Contractor. Experience with ground-up construction. 5-10 years experience. The superintendent directs the work of the project on site, oversees project schedule and complies with company safety and quality standards.  Superintendent provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members of both the GC and the client in all matters. 

Senior Superintendent - DC Area General Contractor. Must have base building experience. 15 years experience. The Sr. Superintendent will communicate with project staff and all subcontractors, serving as the primary leader on site for the construction project.

Project Manager - DC Area General Contractor. Small scale projects less than $1.5 million. 4 years degree or equivalent experience (3-4 yrs). Procore knowledge preferred, but not required.Project Manager - 5-7 years experience with tenant interiors and renovation.

Controller - Reston, VA, award-winning flooring contractor located in Reston, VA seeking a controller with A/P, A/R, Payroll, Tax & Financial Preparation and Statements and expert knowledge with P&L statements. This position will oversee a staff of three. CPA desired, but not required.

Business Development Manager - Beltsville, MD contractor seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with strong industry relationships in a brand range of market sectors.


Asst. Project Manager - 3-5 years experience with base building and renovation

Marketing Coordinator - Bethesda, MD based General Contractor - seeking a marketing proposal coordinator. 3+ years experience. Experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Technical writing background and/or marketing experience for professional services.Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign and Illustrator) for professional document design, layout, and production.Experience in visual communication and graphics development, including experience in graphic design, computer aided design, and media production.

Estimator - 3-5 years experience in estimating projects - emphasis on concrete and steel.

Estimator - 3-5 years experience in tenant interiors and renovation estimating and preconstruction


Human Resources Manager - DC Area General Contractor. HR will work with the executive team to plan, organize and control all activities of the HR function, including goals, objectives and systems. Areas of responsibility/ management include employment, wage and salary administration, benefits, training, employee/labor relations, organizational development, policy guidance and development and payroll. In addition, they will ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws as well as government contracting regulations.

Facilities Manager - 15 years experience, B.S. Administration, detail oriented, highly organized candidate in facility operations and property management. Experience includes management of over 500K SF of office, warehouse, labs and call centers. Managed 12 office consolidations in multiple states while managing new construction/renovation projects up to 50K SF.

Marketing Manager - 20 years experience in the A/E/C industry in the DC Region. Experience managing the proposal process from Start to Finish. Proficient in Indesign and CRM systems. Developed and managed overall marketing plans and strategy including print, digital, and sponsorship packages. BS Degree, Interior Design.
